För nionde gången i rad blir det Feministiskt Byggläger i Västerbotten!

Vi brukar hålla till på olika gårdar och platser i närheten av Umeå.

Tidigare har vi genom olika workshops provat på att timra, bygga tak, svetsa, tälja, klyva ved, mura, meka, pyssla, snickra och mycket annat!

I år fortsätter vi att prova, lära och skapa tillsammans oavsett kunskapsnivå eller tidigare erfarenhet. Lägret är öppet för kvinnor och transpersoner över 15 år.

Lägret kommer att vara drogfritt och alkoholfritt.

 

VAR: Gård utanför Bjurholm, väst om Umeå.

NÄR: 13-18 Juli (onsdag-söndag)
Vi önskar att alla deltagare kan vara med alla dagar.

From 16e Maj fördelar vi platserna och skickar vi ut bekräftelse till alla om de har fått plats på lägret, då behöver du bekräfta din plats. Vi ger de som inte varit på byggläger tidigare förtur till en majoritet av platserna.

BOENDE: Utomhus i tält eller masslogi i en byastuga. Har du inget eget tält så kan vi försöka lösa det. Det finns begränsad möjlighet att sova inomhus. Har du behov av det eller annat du behöver, kontakta oss så försöker vi lösa det.

 

MAT: Lägret står för mat och fika under alla dagarna. Maten är vegansk och anpassas efter anmälda allergier. Lägret är alkoholfritt.

 

KOSTNAD: För att så många som möjligt ska ha råd så har vi en rörlig deltagaravgift. Du kan betala mellan 200-1000kr, och bestämmer själv utifrån din inkomst som arbetslös/heltidsjobbande/pensionär/timmis/student. Har du inte råd med avgiften kan du höra av dig till oss så löser vi det!

 

SPRÅK: Workshopsen kommer att vara främst på svenska.

 

TRANSPORT: Vi försöker lösa transport till lägret från Bjurholm. Mer detaljer kommer till de som får en plats på lägret.

 

TILLGÄNGLIGHET: Platsen för lägret är en gård med stor ojämn gräsplan och hus med flera trappsteg upp utan ramp. Lägrets aktiviteter kommer till största del ske utomhus. Det finns möjlighet att sova inomhus ett par km bort. På gården finns utedass och rinnande vatten.

 

DJUR: Det kommer finnas en hund eller två på plats, samt hästar i närheten. Om du önskar att ta med hund/husdjur på lägret så kontakta oss så pratar vi om vilka förutsättningar som finns för det. Om du är allergisk eller hundrädd meddela oss det, det är viktigt för oss att hitta lösningar som funkar.

For the ninth time in a row we welcome you to the Feminist Construction Camp in Västerbotten!
We usually set up camp on different farms close to Umeå to learn how to carpenter, to construct, to renovate, to weld, to craft, to chop wood, to brick, to fix your car and lots and lots of other things! This year we continue to try, learn and create together regardless of level of knowledge and earlier experience.
The camp is for women and trans people over the age of 15. The camp is free from drugs and alcohol.

 

WHERE: Outside of Bjurholm, one hour west of Umeå.

WHEN: 13-18 July (wednesday-sunday). We wish that all participants are able to be there all of the days.

We will send an email after we know who gets the spots to participate, and you will have to verify your spot. We will try go get a good mix of people in the group, and make sure that people who haven’t been to a camp before get priority to a majority of the available spots.

 

ACCOMODATION: We will sleep outside in tents and in a barn . If you don’t have a tent of your own we will try to solve it. There is limited space to sleep indoors, if you are in need of this please contact us and we will try to solve it..

 

TRANSPORTATION: We’ll try to organise pick up at the bus stop which is far from the camp, more details about that will be sent to the participants.

LANGUAGE: The workshops will be mainly in swedish.

COST: To make sure that more people will be able to attend we are flexible with the cost for the camp. You can pay anything between 200-1000 SEK, and decide yourself based on your income. If it is difficult for you to pay that amount just contact us and we will find a solution.

ANIMALS: There will be a dog or two present. Horses live nearby. If you wish to bring a dog/pet to the camp contact us and we’ll talk about how it could work out. If you are allergic or scared of dogs, let us know. It’s important to us to find solutions that work for everybody.

FOOD: The camp will provide food and fika for all days. The food will be vegan and cater to allergies. No alcohol is allowed.

ACCESSIBILITY: The place for the camp is a farm with a large uneven yard with grass and house with some steps without a ramp. The acitivities of the camp will mainly be held outdoors. Theres some possibility to sleep inside, for those who need that. The farm has an outhouse and running water.
We encourage everybody to apply, and if you have need that you are unsure that we can cater to in terms or physical accessibility or other please get in touch - we want to find a solution! A key part of the idea of feminist building camp is to make building and contruction accessibile to more people, and we would like to find solutions to make it possible for you to participate.
