För åttonde året i rad bjuder vi in till Feministiskt Byggläger i Västerbotten!
I många år har vi hållit till på olika gårdar och platser i närheten av Umeå. Tidigare år har vi genom olika workshops provat på att timra, bygga tak, svetsa, tälja, klyva ved, mura, meka, pyssla, snickra och mycket annat! Under sommarens läger fortsätter vi att prova, lära och skapa tillsammans oavsett kunskapsnivå och tidigare erfarenhet. Precis som tidigare år kommer lägret att vara öppet för kvinnor och transpersoner över 15 år. Lägret kommer att vara drogfritt och alkoholfritt.
Mer info kommer senare men skriv upp den 21-25 juli (onsdag-söndag) i kalendern! Anmälan kommer vara öppen 3 – 16 maj.
Bjud in alla dina byggpeppade vänner (kvinnor och transpersoner) så ses vi i sommar!
Vi uppmuntrar alla att söka, och du som har behov som du inte vet om lägret kan uppfylla när det kommer till fysisk eller annan tillgänglighet - vi vill lösa det! En av de viktigaste tankarna med lägret är att bredda för vilka bygg och snickeri är till för, och vi vill gärna hitta lösningar för att just du ska kunna delta.
Vi planerar för att kunna genomföra lägret på ett säkert sätt utifrån covid-19 och rådande restriktioner. Om förutsättningarna ändras kan vi komma att ändra planerna för lägret. Vi kommer göra det vi kan för att minimera riskerna för smittspridning.

SAVE THE DATE
For the eight year in a row we welcome you to Feminist Construction Camp in Västerbotten! Previous years we have set up camp on different farms close to Umeå to learn how to carpenter, to construct, to renovate, to weld, to craft, to chop wood, to brick, to fix your car and lots and lots of other things! This year we have the opportunity to keep the tradition going and to try, learn and create together regardless of level of knowledge and earlier experience. As usual the camp is for women and trans people over the age of 15. The camp is free from drugs and alcohol.
More info will be posted later but save the date now! The application will be open 3th – 16th May. WHERE: Close to Umeå
WHEN: 21-25 july (wednesday-sunday). We wish that all participants are able to be there all of the days.
LANGUAGE: The workshops will be mainly in swedish.
ACCESSIBILITY: We encourage everyone to apply and for you who are uncertain if you can participate due to physical accessibility or other reasons – we want to find a solution. One of the core ideas of the camp is that building and construction should be available for more people and we want to find a solution for you to be part of that.
COVID-19: We are planning for the camp to be held in a save way. Depending on the restrictions and situation when it take places change may happen with how the event is organised, how many participants and how far people can travel. At camp, we will do everything we can to avoid spreading of infection.
So invite all of your pals (women and trans people) excited about construction and we will see you in the summer! With this said, we hope for a wonderful, fun and exciting camp!
